EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – Resulting from poor monitor situations, Saturday night time’s 14-race harness racing program at The Meadowlands was canceled after the primary race.
“The chilly temperatures [with a real-feel of 11 degrees] and powerful winds [with gusts to 26 mph] created an icy monitor,” stated monitor Chief Working Officer and Basic Supervisor Jason Settlemoir. “Our coverage is at all times security first, so for the great of our horses and drivers, we felt it was finest to cancel the rest of this system.”
Stay racing at The Huge M will resume Friday at 6:20 p.m.
