In a shift from his typical spring routine, star galloper Mr Brightside is not going to pursue a 3rd consecutive victory within the P.B. Lawrence Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield.
Co-trainer Ben Hayes talked about that the almost seven-year-old gelding had gained 41 kilograms throughout his spell and would start stepping up his coaching subsequent week.
“We’ll skip the Lawrence Stakes this 12 months to provide him some further time,” Hayes defined.
