New league to give top amateur event riders ‘the recognition they deserve’

A brand new sequence for newbie occasion riders will launch for the 2026 season to offer constant prime performers “the popularity they deserve”.
The Baileys Newbie Rider Collection will rejoice the UK’s best and constant newbie athletes in British Eventing (BE), working throughout BE100, BE105, novice and intermediate.

A devoted leaderboard will sit throughout the BE stats centre, powered by EquiRatings, to trace performances. The highest 10 riders on the finish of the season will obtain Baileys prizes, and there can even be month-to-month highlights and rewards for stand-out performers.
