Jason Clark, who spent most of his skilled life working at horse farms, died Dec. 6. Clark, a local of Lexington, dwelling in Poughquag, N.Y., was 47.
Clark had a lifelong ardour for the horse trade, working at Highclere, Ashford Stud, and Wimbledon Farm, however making his life’s work at Sugar Maple Farm in Poughquag.
He started his profession by gaining the information he wanted by working aspect by aspect together with his grandfather Tiny Clark. The household recalled how Jason Clark would, “stand on the finish of the driveway in his large cowboy hat ready for Tiny to select him as much as head to the horse gross sales when he was solely 16 years outdated.” Jason Clark would work at horse farms in Kentucky, New York, Eire, and New Zealand.
Admired by many within the Thoroughbred trade, the household famous that just lately a veterinarian advised Clark, “You bandaged that horse’s leg higher than I may have.”
He’s survived by his mother and father; Cheryl J. Clark (Georgetown, Ky.), and Ralph D.
