The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown ballot, which will likely be launched each Tuesday by the rest of the Grand Circuit season, doesn’t decide Horse of the 12 months. The members of the U.S. Harness Writers Affiliation vote on all Dan Patch Award division winners plus Trotter of the 12 months, Pacer of the 12 months and Horse of the 12 months.
