Using the rail below Ricardo Santana Jr., Will Take It  got here via a slender opening in early stretch and outfought Woodcourt  to win the $150,000 Fifth Season Stakes Feb. 5 at Oaklawn Park.

Will Take It settled in third within the five-horse discipline over the preliminary 6 furlongs of the race, on the rail a few size and a half behind front-running Woodcourt  and pace-chasing Velocity King , the 3-5 favourite. Blocked till exiting the second flip, he discovered wanted daylight on the head of the lane. He then engaged Woodcourt, in the end prevailing by a head after a stretch duel. Will Take It, b, 5/h
