Turfway Park has moved its Wednesday racing card to Sunday, Jan. 12 with a 1 p.m. first put up, in response to a Nationwide Climate Service forecast predicting a big winter storm adopted by nighttime wind chills within the single digits.
The cardboard is not going to be redrawn and will probably be run in its entirety on Sunday.
Officers will proceed to watch the climate forecast all through the week and supply updates if crucial for any adjustments relating to Thursday by way of Saturday’s playing cards.Â
